Ed Miliband said his opposition to the Iraq war, which had been a dividing line with his brother during the leadership race, was part of the need to acknowledge the errors which had lost Labour the trust of voters. The party needed to show humility on the subject, he said.

“I’m under no illusions about the scale of the challenge we face. The journey begins with humility about our record,” Miliband told Sky News in an earlier interview.

When Ed Miliband branded the invasion “wrong” during his speech yesterday, his brother did not clap but leaned over to ask Harriet Harman, the deputy Labour leader: “You voted for it. Why are you clapping?” [courtesy the Guardian]

My tuppence worth: It was very revealing on the ‘acceptance speech by Ed as the newly elected leader’ to, with the first few sentences he uttered, to have nominated Harriet Harman a Bliarite was sign that things were not as ought to be between siblings. After all David Miliband had second best votes to rightfully be a Deputy PM even if he was not the winner’s brother and opponent.

On the other hand David was being sanctimonious and patronising when he mentioned several ‘rights’ and ‘wrongs’ in the foreign issues. If he had that strong sense of ‘British’ right & wrong – my question is what was he doing supporting the Iraq War on Words-Of-Mass-Deception, as a Cabinet Member?

The second and last question I have is for Ed; given his contriteness for the mistakes made by Bliarite Govt including the illegal Iraq War, what is his ‘actual’ agenda choosing a Blair Babe as a Deputy who also voted for that Iraq War?

What do I expect from Ed?

I have been conspicuously quiet of late observing the fast paced workings of the Con-Dem [my coined phrase] Coalition Govt as if there’s no tomorrow.

Perhaps there isn’t given Ed’s positioning. But why am I so enthused about Ed Miliband given that I am Independent?

Simply because he does not appear to contraband like his elder brother who did harbour prime ministerial ambitions despite his constant denials holding a banana as his witness. Why, otherwise, would David think of relinquishing the cushy Westminster Village outside which either brother has not served?

So what do I expect of Ed?

In addition to accepting, including and implementing, if not all, some of my last manifesto, I expect him to be nationally contrite about the increased inequalities under 13 years of New Labour, about the New Labour’s Words of Mass Deception [WMDs] both in 1997 Manifesto and in the House of Parliament especially about Iraq & Afghanistan. I want him to come clean and condemn the excesses of New Labour and especially about them being economic or frugal with the truth about the economic mis-management of the UK PLC.

I want him to be humble and listen to the heart of Britain in introducing an English referendum [i] to select the new electoral system that the electorate decide upon and [ii] to select a acceptable political governance for England.

General Patreus accepts that under his watch the US failed in Iraq. He does not have adequate time to deal with insurgency in Afghanistan which might come as a God given providence as I’ve stated innumerable times that that ‘war’ in Afghanistan is unwinnable.

The sooner the incompetents shift themselves off Afghanistan and save the British lives the better.

According to the majority in the US & UK and Afghanistan – they do not agree with this war and want Americans out.

This is an eye opener for it’s awe inspiring innovations both in terms of mass nutritive-food technology for school children, the sheer mind-boggling scale of dedicated distribution to all schools on time despite adverse infrastructures such as impassable roads and most importantly the much needed and admired theological and cultural innovation with the Haré Krishna Sampradaya [Hindu School of thought] in meeting the needs of the North Indian school children and their diversity.

I have been writing about the adverse impact on the health of Indian Indians through the excessive ingress of McDonalds, KFC & other fast-junk-food outlets in India.

Eat your heart out Jamie.

Dear Prime Minister of the Con-Dem Coalition

You could not conceivably have missed hearing of ” the white man speaks with forked tongue”.

That is how your stance in India about Pakistan sounds unless you intend to deliver; forthwith without fear or favour.

Besides exceptional intelligence, Indians have been genetically endowed with enviable intuition into the psyche of the ‘bearer of the gifts’ – they will sus you out instantaneously. I do not have to tell you that.

The question still remains of an accountable, dependable and trustworthy position of the British Govt, of which you are the negotiated, not elected, leader, given that it was only through the indecently hurried mess up of the British governance in 1947 in India by the Mountbatten Brigade that lead to this partition between brothers and sisters that created this life long chasm on which the British Govt have been feeding in line with its divide and rule strategy.

Both neighbours have had talks post Mumbai massacre prior to your light touch visit. They certainly do not need a ‘firangee’ [foreigner] igniting the old flames only to get a trade agreement with the most democratic and dominant economy in the World. You may not wish the Eastern Block to dominate the economy. That was the reason why the East India Company became an exploitatory and opportunistically intrusive company and the very reason why Indians see you with a ‘forked tongue’.

On top of it all as to why the previously discredited New Labour Health Secretary, MP for Leicester, Patricia Hewitt was in the entourage is beyond any one’s belief.

I am equally frank about it and hope your receive this as you expect the Pakistanis to receive your message. The only difference is that I am not a Pakistani. I am watching you as I have stressed in my innumerable previous e-mails.
