Hodge urges job help for Muslims

Dear Executive, Guidance & Advisory Colleagues

Attached in further support of my paper titled "Joint Question to ODPM, Milton Keynes Partnership Committee and Health & Social Care Partners of MKSM Project and the respective Central Government Colleagues on "EQUALITIES, SOCIAL INCLUSION, SOCIAL MOBILITY, COMMUNITY COHESION & SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES." –  How can the Community Leaders and The Blair Government, parents and teachers best tackle high risk, left-behind, alienated groups? Hodge urges job help for Muslims.

Well; that’s a start – although it comes after 8 years in Government and 5 years after The Act {The Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000}.

Better, little late, than never.

"Her call comes after a study suggested there was an 11% gap between Muslims and other graduates in finding work.
According to independent research discrimination is one problem..

Mrs Hodge will say that the situation is worrying and completely unacceptable and it is vital to discover why so many young Muslims have a promising start by getting into higher education, but then fail to find a job."

And what about the other left behind, discriminated groups?

Best regards

Anant

PS: HOW MANY BRITISH MUSLIMS FEEL CONFIDENT OF ASPIRING TO & OF ACHIEVING SUCH PROMINENT PUBLIC POSITIONS???
