Being held Milton Keynes Community Ambassadors’ Leader since 29 Mar 2004, it was in the same respected, revered and hallowed church that I was honoured, yet again, with a certificate and a badge on the 22 March 2006 presented by Elaine Sirera, the founder of the British Diversity Awards.
Recognition, once again, for good, effective community leadership has to be earned – it could not be conferred through the ballot box alone.
Therefore, truly, such an honour is a far more powerful mandate than any politician can claim to enjoy.
