Comment: Is, as quite fortuitously wished in my previous articles that the winds of social change ought to sweep through Saudi Arabia and Emirates, this the ray of hope of the dawn of freedom for the oppressed gender at least in the voting rights to begin with?
I certainly hope so and I am mighty glad for all those who may relish exercising their civic right for the very first time in their lives in Kuwait for it is also crucially important for the lethargic west to begin to value the very freedoms they have – have been achieved only after others have sacrificed their lives fighting for that right.
Only when they lose the right to chose their government will they suddenly wake up to value the right they readily wasted for selfish pursuits.
