Wolverton, as I’ve mentioned before, is a victorian railway town built by a Victorian philanthropist for a reasonable return on invested capital. It is 2 miles north of my residence.
Today in a local grocery shop run by a Pakistani friend, I met a young Pakistani man Riaz Akhtar who is running a taxi whilst also studying for MBA. He’s stranding in this local government election as one of the MBE community candidates for Better MK Independents.
I support him in his vision and endeavour to serve Milton Keynes including the BME Community better. I hope that you all will support him too.
