A 14-year-old Indian boy has been awarded the International Children’s Peace Prize for leading a campaign against child labour and child slavery.

Comment: Yes. Yes; this is unique and quite befitting. It makes me very proud of young people of the World who overcome disadvantage and deal with it positively making a positive difference to others especially in this case to those enslaved in child labour in India.

Om Prakash means the first, original, illumination at the beginning of the Universe. What a befitting name for a champion against child labour and slavery? His mother will be proud.
