What? The Institute interviewed 2,500 for its survey. Why not interview ME? I do not get a bonus. I do not get paid just to ‘appear or show up’ at work. I get paid to perform beyond expectations and to delight the customers and thus repeat the business. That is why the Audit Commission has awarded Camden the meritorious the best Council in the UK. Despite that I am an Indian and remained an Indian in the organisation of some 7,500 employees.
You may be surprised to learn that I have been on the same grade since 2 Dec 1979. I have completed my 32nd year in Camden. So why is it that I do not get to ‘look into’ these purported ‘expected rises despite recession’? Is because I chose not to be coerced into subscribing to a trade union?
